Task Force on Inclusion & Bias

Through the work of Feinberg students, faculty and staff, every aspect of the curriculum is reviewed for opportunities to teach students to recognize where bias exists, attempt to change it and move all of medical education and practice in a more inclusive direction. The task force includes members from the MD, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, Prosthetics-Orthotics, and Genetic Counseling programs.

This subcommittee develops materials including didactics, online training modules and smaller group discussions to facilitate training of faculty in matters of inclusion and bias at Feinberg.

 Anti-Bias Curriculum

This subcommittee evaluates and elicits student feedback on all curricular modules in terms of bias. They make recommendations about concepts that are essential to include in order to address health equity and social determinants of health.
