The Feinberg Academy of Medical Educators is excited to announce Sanjay V. Desai, MD as the 15th Annual Medical Education Day Keynote speaker. He is the Chief Academic Officer and Group Vice President of Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA). Dr. Desai is deeply passionate about advancing health professions education to better prepare learners for the complex and evolving healthcare landscape.

His keynote address on Precision Education will begin at 12:00pm on September 24, 2025 in Hughes Auditorium. More details to come.

Call for Proposals

Medical Education Day is looking for proposals for our 2025 event. This is an exciting chance to share research with colleagues, explore new teaching practices with fellow instructors, and engage with learners and educators on developing effective teaching mechanisms.  

Submit a proposal for Medical Education Day using the Submission Form by June 2, 2025 at 11:59 pm.

Feinberg Academy of Medical Educators, in collaboration with the Department of Medical Education, is proud to host Medical Education Day, an annual one-day event designed to:  

• Celebrate the outstanding teaching and scholarship of our faculty, trainees, and students.  

• Honor faculty members’ achievements and promotions.  

• Reflect and value the greatest internal motivation for many of our faculty.  

• Allow experienced faculty, novice educators and students to gather and exchange best practices at hands-on workshops & didactic lectures.
