The Physician Assistant (PA), Prosthetics-Orthotics (PO) and Physical Therapy (PT) programs have teaching opportunities to suit your goals. Small Group Leader
- Lead groups of PAS-1s during small group discussions related to ethical issues in medicine
- Variable, once a week during the fall/winter, 90-minute discussions

- Grade and provide feedback to first- and second-year PA students during Standardized Patient (SP) encounters

Problem Based Learning (PBL)
Small Group Leader
- Lead groups of PAS-1s during Problem-Based Learning (PBL) sessions
- Cases focus on applying foundational sciences to clinical problems and integrating ethics/public health issues
- Three, two-hour sessions per week or single day sub opportunities
- Monday/Wednesday 10-12pm, Fridays 9-11am

Lecturer
Lecturer
- Lecture to PA students in a variety of topics across multiple organ systems and specialties, including: clinical medicine, laboratory medicine, physical examination, patient education and counseling, social determinants of health, ethics, and other topics
- Ongoing special opportunity to facilitate case-based discussions following the week problem based learning case
- Variable – Lectures typically run from 60-120 minutes; PBL case wrap-up discussions are 60 minutes
