Learning Objectives 

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:  

  1. Describe factors that compromise constructive discussions during mortality and morbidity conference. 
  2. Explain factors influencing incivility and exclusion during mortality and morbidity conference. 
  3. Identify effective strategies for preventing incivility and exclusions behaviors during mortality and morbidity conferences. 
  4. Describe the process of moderating mortality and morbidity conferences discussions so that they lead to effective learning.
