Delivery of Optimized Care

During the Phase 1b section of the medical school curriculum, M2 students will meet for three separate case-based discussions that will focus on the intersections of teamwork, patient safety and quality, health equity and the business of medicine. These sessions will be grounded in medical cases, but the focus will be not on the basic science but on these other critical aspects of patient care. Students meet in small groups with a faculty member to work through these cases.
