Student Groups

Medical students at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine organize a diverse range of community, special interest and social student organizations. Through participation in these groups, students gain valuable leadership and organization skills while coordinating on-campus special events, social gatherings, educational lectures and workshops as well as volunteering both locally and internationally. The benefits and services provided by Northwestern University's student groups are available to all students without regard to any category protected by the law. The University believes different perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds are critical to a dynamic and vibrant University community, and as such, all students are welcome and encouraged to join each group.

Current students organize more than 100 groups, including:

  • Affinity Groups
  • Clinical Care Groups
  • Community Engagement & Advocacy Groups
  • Extracurricular Groups
