What Is an Ombudsperson?

An ombudsperson is an impartial, neutral third-party physician appointed to help students, residents and fellows at Feinberg resolve complaints of mistreatment. They provide a confidential and non-judgmental space for individuals to discuss issues and explore options for addressing them. The ombudsperson's role is to facilitate conflict resolution and ensure that students, residents and fellows are treated fairly and equitably.
