How to Apply

Four residents match into our residency program each year, and residency appointments begin on June 23 each year. Subsequent appointments at each advancing level are contingent upon individual performance.

2021 Urology Match

Application Requirements

Applications for positions will be processed electronically through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and include:

  • ERAS application
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Medical school transcripts
  • USMLE and/or COMLEX transcripts
  • Personal statement
  • At least three letters of recommendation
  • Medical Student Performance Evaluation

An interview is required for appointment to the program. Interviews are offered by personal invitation following a comprehensive review of application materials.

In accordance with the Society of Academic Urology 2021 Urology Residency Match Policy, the following changes will occur for the 2021 Match.

Updated Match Timeline

  • Registration Opens: June 24, 2020
  • Registration Deadline: December 29, 2020
  • Rank List Begins: November 24, 2020
  • Rank List Deadline: January 12, 2020
  • Match Results Released: February 1, 2021

Standardized Invitation and Acceptances

Friday, November 6, interview offers will be extended by ALL programs participating in the match.

Monday, November 9, students will be able to contact each program accepting or declining each of these offers.


All in-person interviews will be converted to video-based interviews.

To help students get aquatinted with our program, faculty and residents, we will be hosting a virtual open house on August 20 at 4:30 PM CST.
