Application
Twelve first-year resident positions are offered each academic year, beginning in late June. Applications are reviewed holistically by the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Committee, and selected applicants are invited to interview. Completed applications must be submitted through Residency CAS by September 24. Interviews are held in November and December.
Interview dates for the 2026-2027 application cycle are November 14, December 4, and December 14.
Graduates of international, non-LCME-accredited medical schools must provide current, valid ECFMG certification. J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship is available. [Learn more about international applicant requirements.]
The program will follow the recommended standards as set forth by APGO for the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency application and virtual interview processes.
- September 17, 2026 is the deadline for receipt of Residency CAS application materials - the Admissions Committee will only review applications if ALL of the requested application materials are received by this date.
- Invitations will be extended to applicants starting on October 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. CT. Applicants will be granted a 48-hour window to respond. Thereafter, rolling offers will be offered for any unfilled interview slots. These applicants will have 24 hours to respond.
- The program will limit the interview invitations to the number of released interview slots.
- Only the exact number of interview slots will be offered as the number of invited applicants.
- All interviews will be conducted virtually.
