Ecem Esencan, MD

Third Year

Dr. Esencan joined the Northwestern REI team in August 2024. She is originally from Istanbul, Turkey. She graduated from medical school at Koc University in Istanbul. She then completed her OBGYN residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. She will complete her fellowship in the summer of 2027.

Alexandra (Ali) Herweck, MD

Second Year

Dr. Herweck joined the Northwestern team in August 2025. She brings a strong foundation in obstetrics and gynecology, having completed her OBGYN residency at Emory University in June 2025. She is currently completing her fellowship training, with completion expected in the summer of 2028.

Parker Bussies, MD

First Year

Dr. Bussies joined the Northwestern Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility team in August 2026. He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Cleveland Clinic. His research interests include neuroendocrinology, genetics, and personalized care in reproduction. He will complete his fellowship training in the summer of 2029.
