Aquifer

Aquifer is a catalogue of online clinical courses with cases that allow students to build essential knowledge and clinical reasoning skills by moving through stages of a patient's presentation and assuming the role of a virtual student working with a virtual preceptor. Cases are designed to create a realistic clinical experience — complete with diagnostic testing, videos, audio and medical imaging — and demonstrate effective communication with patients and preceptors. Embedded questions with a detailed answer key also allow students to self-assess their assimilation and application of case content.

DocCom

DocCom is a catalogue of online modules with real-world case scenarios designed to enhance learners’ ability to effectively communicate with patients and peers on a range of routine and sensitive topics, including alcoholism, domestic violence, depression and professional issues such as boundaries, mindfulness, self-care, and teamwork. Each case – comprised of interactive videos and accompanying text as well as digital assessments – challenges learners to develop sensitivity to different communication styles and difficult situations.
