Faculty

The Bladder Health Program offers a full range of testing and treatment options for urinary problems including:

  • Urinary and fecal incontinence
  • Prolapse or descent of pelvic organs
  • Incomplete bladder emptying
  • Prostatitis
  • Frequency and urgency
  • Chronic pelvic pain and discomfort
  • Urinary tract or prostate infections
  • Fistulae (abnormal connections of one anatomic system to another)
  • Pelvic pain
  • Pain during intercourse
  • Neurogenic Voiding Dysfunction

Resources available include dedicated, experienced nursing staff offering teaching in the following areas:

  • Self-catheterization
  • Pelvic floor muscle exercises with or without biofeedback;
  • Voiding interval training;
  • State-of-the-art videourodynamics equipment;
  • Non-invasive biofeedback equipment; and
  • Electrical stimulation of the pelvic floor.
