At the Center for Bedside Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, we recognize that the world of modern medicine is ever-changing. We need to reimagine the clinical encounter — including how we teach and assess clinical skills — in order to meet the current needs of patients, healthcare professionals and healthcare systems. Our center aims to lead this 21st-century revitalization.

Scholars join a community of talented clinician-educators and investigators who recognize the value of the bedside encounter in improving diagnostic accuracy and overall patient care.
