The Center for Translational Pain Research aims to expand creative, high-quality research at Northwestern University to foster a deeper understanding of pain mechanisms. This accelerated discovery will lead to the development of new non-opioid treatments for managing and relieving acute and chronic pain conditions of varying types. Our focus is on research, education and clinical practice, as well as training future basic and clinical scientists.
