Patient Care

The Center for Translational Pain Research (CTPR) is not a care destination. The CTPR is organized to be closely coordinated with patient pain management in the Pain Medicine Center within the Department of Anesthesiology at Northwestern Medicine. Close collaboration between clinicians treating pain patients and scientists developing novel therapies offers hope to patients and creates an unprecedented opportunity to translate pain science to the bedside.
