The Department of Urology prides itself on its service to patients, vowing to provide the best possible care to both them and their families. Our attending physicians come from the greatest stock of training institutions, offering experience ranging from 10 to 40 years. Fostering positive and lasting physician/patient relationships is encouraged in our department.

The Northwestern Department of Urology's clinical offices are located in downtown Chicago, blocks from Michigan Ave, in the Galter Pavilion of Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Facilities

The Department of Urology at the Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation (NMFF) is located in the Galter Pavilion of Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The facility combines ambulatory and inpatient care, diagnostic and treatment facilities and physician offices all in a single convenient location in close proximity to several main transportation thoroughfares, Michigan Avenue and parking.

The facility enables physicians to provide outstanding, innovative, and multidisciplinary care to their patients - all under one roof. Furthermore, the overall design supports operational efficiency and innovation, and includes state-of-the-art equipment for use by the physicians and staff.

Driving

From the south, take the Dan Ryan expressway (94W) north to Lake Shore Drive. Follow Lake Shore Drive north to Chicago Avenue. Turn left (west) on Chicago Avenue and proceed to Fairbanks Court. Turn left (south) on Fairbanks Court and proceed to Huron Street. The building is located on the southwest corner of Huron and Fairbanks.
From the north, take the Edens expressway (94E) south to the Kennedy expressway (90E). Take the Kennedy expressway (90E) south to Ohio Street. Follow Ohio Street east to St. Clair Street (one block east of Michigan Avenue). Turn left (north) on St. Clair Street and proceed to Erie Street. The building is located on the northeast corner of Erie and St. Clair.
From the northwest, take the Kennedy expressway (90E) south to Ohio Street. Follow Ohio Street east to St. Clair Street (one block east of Michigan Avenue). Turn left (north) on St. Clair Street and proceed to Erie Street. The building is located on the northeast corner of Erie and St. Clair.
From the west, take the Eisenhower expressway (290) east to Columbus Drive (one block east of Michigan Avenue). Turn left on Columbus Drive (which becomes Fairbanks Court) and proceed to Huron Street. The building is located on the southwest corner of Huron and Fairbanks.

Public Transportation (CTA)

Take the red line to the Chicago Avenue stop. (If the red line is not convenient to your starting place, you can transfer from the Washington or Jackson blue line stops, the Belmont or Fullerton brown and purple line stops, the State-Lake orange line stop, or the Howard yellow line stop.) Exit the station, and catch the #66 CTA bus eastbound to Huron Street and Fairbanks Court.

Parking

Convenient parking is available in the parking lot at the corner of Huron and St. Clair Streets. You may enter this lot from either Huron or Superior Street. Discount parking is available to patients. Please ask the office staff for details and parking validation.
