Faculty members of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation include over 50 physiatrists as well as specialists in internal medicine, neurology, pediatrics, anesthesiology, orthopaedic surgery, physiology, psychology, social work, physical and occupational therapy, nursing, rehabilitation and biomedical engineering, and prosthetics and orthotics. The clinical and research interests include motor control and spasticity, spinal cord injury, pain, vascular disease, muscle disease, brain trauma, arthritis, prosthetics, and electrophysiology.
