Division of Pediatric Dermatology

The division of pediatric dermatology at Children's Memorial Hospital of Northwestern University is considered among the top programs in the United States. Four full-time faculty see patients and teach fellows, residents and medical students at Children’s Memorial Hospital and its satellite clinic locations in Glenview, Westchester, Arlington Heights, and Tinley Park. The faculty has expertise in all aspects of skin, hair and nail care for children, and each faculty member has specific areas of interest.

Faculty at Children’s Memorial Hospital:

Anthony Mancini, MD (head of division)

Sarah Chamlin, MD

Amy Paller, MD

Annette Wagner, MD

In general, children under the age of 16 years with dermatologic problems are seen at the pediatric dermatology clinics at Children’s Memorial Hospital. Pulsed dye laser therapy and pediatric dermatological surgery are available. Call 773-327-3446 to schedule a patient to be seen by pediatric dermatologists at Children’s. Pediatric patients are not seen at the downtown dermatology clinic at Northwestern Memorial Faculty Foundation, except for photo-therapy services for children 5 years and above (312-695-8667), and special aesthetic and surgical services for adolescents (312-695-6647).

The experts at Children’s cover the breadth of skin conditions in infants, children and adolescents; however, specialty services have been established for unusual conditions. These include:

Children's Memorial Hospital Multidisciplinary Vascular Lesion Clinic
