The Cutaneous and Aesthetic Surgery Service provides more complex surgical, laser and cosmetic services. Faculty members are fellowship trained in Mohs micrographic surgery, as well as laser and cosmetic surgery:

Mohs Micrographic Surgery

Mohs Micrographic Surgery is a state-of-the-art technique that allows the Mohs surgeon to precisely identify and remove skin tumor cells by identifying tumor vs. normal tissue microscopically during the procedure. Most commonly used for basal cell and squamous cell cancers, the cure rate for Mohs Micrographic Surgery is the highest of all treatments for skin cancer, thus minimizing the chance of recurrence as well as associated scarring or disfigurement.

Mohs Surgical Services are offered Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to  5 p.m. To schedule an appointment, please call
312-695-6647.

For Mohs, please fax biopsy reports to 312-695-0529.

This service performs careful skin examinations at baseline and annually and offers management of cutaneous complications in transplantation and associated immunosuppression including malignancies.

Patients can be seen daily.   To schedule an appointment, please call  312-695-6647.
