The Feinberg Office of Health Equity (OHE) brings together healthcare professionals, researchers, trainees, policymakers, and community advocates to showcase innovative research, interventions, and policies aimed at reducing health disparities.
This annual gathering features the prestigious Lyceum Keynote Address alongside our signature Health Equity Research Poster Session fostering meaningful dialogue and cross-institutional collaboration to improve health outcomes for marginalized communities.

Lyceum Keynote Address
The Keynote Address invites national leaders at the forefront of medicine, public health, and advocacy to deliver the symposium's keynote address. These lectures challenge current systemic structures and inspire groundbreaking approaches to health equity science.
2026 Keynote Speaker
Nancy E. Schoenberg, PhD, is Marion Pearsall Professor of Behavioral Science at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Associate Director of the University of Kentucky Center for Clinical and Translational Science, and Founding Director of the Center for Health, Engagement and Transformation (CHET).
Poster Session & Call for Abstracts
The Health Equity Research Poster Session provides a vital platform for students, residents, fellows, and faculty investigators to share their work, gain feedback from peers, and spark collaborative partnerships.
Recognition & Awards
During the poster session, outstanding contributions to the field are recognized across three distinct categories:
- The John E. Franklin Innovation Award: Celebrating student breakthroughs in health equity research.
- The Health Equity Excellence Award: Recognizing residents or fellows leading projects that advance fairness and access in medicine.
- The Melissa A. Simon Champion Award: Honoring faculty members demonstrating exceptional leadership and mentorship.
