Biography
Dr. Maria Colavincenzo is an assistant professor of dermatology at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Colavincenzo is a board-certified general medical dermatologist with a special interest in hair loss (alopecia). She also has expertise in the detection and treatment of skin cancer and benign skin growths, and management of acne, eczema, and many other skin conditions.
Dr. Colavincenzo completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Princeton University, attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, and completed an internship in internal medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Following her dermatology residency at the Weill Cornell Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, Dr. Colavincenzo joined the full-time faculty as an Assistant Professor of clinical dermatology at Cornell before joining the full-time faculty at Northwestern this year.
