Radiation Oncology Physician-Scientist Training Program

The Department of Radiation Oncology has established an integrated Physician-Scientist Training Program (PSTP) for graduates. Residents may participate in faculty-mentored research projects and apply formally during residency.

The Starzl Academy serves as an umbrella for PSTP programs across Northwestern's clinical departments and seeks to build a community that connects individuals to the investigative component of their training throughout their programs, exposing them to the full breadth of opportunities here at Northwestern and encouraging multidisciplinary interaction and collaboration.
