Clinical Specialization
Our faculty advance radiation oncology by integrating sophisticated technology with data-driven research. We provide the expertise and research that underpin the patient care delivered by our healthcare affiliates, developing highly precise, image-guided treatments using state-of-the-art 3D and 4D planning, stereotactic radiosurgery and adaptive radiotherapy to improve outcomes for both intracranial and extracranial disease.
The department has earned national recognition for leadership in the research and clinical application of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), proton beam therapy and brachytherapy for prostate and gynecologic cancers. Our clinical practice is closely integrated with translational research and investigator-initiated trials, enabling rapid translation of innovation into routine care.
A distinguishing feature of our program is the development and deployment of artificial intelligence–enabled platforms for treatment planning, dose optimization and response assessment. These tools support faster, more consistent workflows while enabling increasingly personalized radiation therapy strategies.
