    CA-3 Residents Benjamin Johnson, Chris Schilf, and Milly Turakhia completed a one-month international rotation at the Hospital Materno Reynaldo Almánzar, Villa Mella, Santo Domingo Norte in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Johnson presented a lecture to the medical staff in Spanish.

Honors

  • Five faculty were recognized for Exemplary Professionalism by Northwestern medical students.

    Northwestern University medical students recognize five anesthesiology faculty for their "Exemplary Professionalism": Drs. Louanne Carabini, Christine Stock, Michael Ault, Charles Shayan, and Abbas Al-Qamari. Faculty mentoring and role modeling is a critical part of medical education. During the third-year clerkship years, the Office of Medical Education asks NU Feinberg students to name faculty members that they believe demonstrate exemplary professionalism.
