Why did you choose Feinberg?

There are so many reasons why Feinberg was the right choice for me. Everyone that is part of the Feinberg community is so welcoming and supportive. Students are always working together and sharing resources with each other. Faculty from every discipline look for ways to mentor and be a resource for students. At Feinberg, I appreciate the commitment to balance throughout the curriculum by integrating different topics such as humanities, epidemiology, business in medicine, ethics and lifestyle medicine. Plus, there is early and consistent exposure to the clinical side of medicine through ECMH and CEC.

What do you enjoy most about living in Chicago?

Chicago is a wonderful city to live in. It has the feel of a big city, without feeling like it’s too big or too crowded. Whatever you are looking for in a city, Chicago has it. Restaurants, museums, parks, sporting events, fancy stores… all within reach of public transportation! I’ve enjoyed taking a boat tour to see the awesome architecture throughout the city, walking down Michigan Avenue, and playing golf at a few different courses close by. Also, the pizza is unmatched.

Topics I can discuss with prospective students:

  • Life in Chicago
  • ECMH
  • AOSC
  • Campus Life
