I'm Sydney Fleishman, and I am a first year medical student at Feinberg School of Medicine. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and attended Vanderbilt University for undergrad where I majored in Neuroscience and Medicine, Health, and Society, and minored in Business. I did my gap year in New York City working with healthcare consulting and innovation companies, and I am very interested in the intersection of medicine and innovation. I am still very openminded about my specialty. So far, I have loved my time at Feinberg, and my classmates and faculty are so welcoming, kind, and informative, and I know I am getting an incredibly comprehensive education that will make me the best physician I can be for my patients. I just started here, but I am excited to get involved in more clinical research and student organizations soon.
