Tell us about an experience that made you truly feel part of the “Feinberg Family”
At a college social event close to Thanksgiving, we shared fun presentations. One member in our college delivered an entertaining and heartwarming presentation assigning Marvel characters to each person in our college. She designated our college mentor, Dr. Gangopadyay as Captain Marvel, to which we all laughed and applauded in agreement.
What was the biggest challenge you faced when starting medical school?
I had never been to Chicago (or the Midwest) before and am the first person in my immediate family to have graduated from college and attend medical school. I had no idea what to expect when starting medical school and felt apprehensive about academics and social life. However, I have felt incredibly accepted and supported at Feinberg and happy that I took the leap of faith.
