Why did you choose Feinberg?

I chose Feinberg because of the other students I met on interview day and at Second Look. Everyone was immediately collaborative and valued meaningful work/life balance. I was also really excited about the early clinical experiences we get such as ECMH and the integrated organ system curriculum.

What do you enjoy most about living in Chicago?

I love living in Streeterville and being able to walk almost anywhere I need to go. Campus is very close to the lake which is a great place to go for a walk or run or just relax. There is also so much to do and so many unique neighborhoods to explore, so I am never out of new things to try.

How would you describe the curriculum at Feinberg? What do you find unique or innovative?

The curriculum is really integrated and evolving. My schedule is never exactly the same week to week which I like. I love how we have clinical medicine and science in medicine every week so we can connect what we’re learning in basic science lectures directly to patient experiences. We also have a range of small to large group sessions which keeps the day interesting and allows me to interact with a lot of my classmates.

Topics I can discuss with prospective students:

  • Life in Chicago
  • Campus Life
  • ECMH
  • AOSC/Research
  • Student Wellness
  • Student Organizations, Affinity Groups
