Why did you choose Feinberg?

I chose Feinberg because of its meticulous emphasis on curriculum development, early clinical experience, research, and applied learning. I really wanted a school where I could truly translate the skills I am learning in the classroom directly to what I will be doing in the real world and where I could learn what it means to blend the roles of physician, investigator, and innovator throughout my time here. I know I function well in teams and in learning through problem-solving and case studies, and I have been really excited about that being a big part of the curriculum here.

What do you enjoy most about living in Chicago?

I love how vibrant Chicago is and how Feinberg's campus is central to all the amazing things the city has to offer. My favorite part is how supportive the city is to leading a healthy lifestyle- I really enjoy being able to take morning walks to class, evening bike rides by the lake, and weekends enjoying water sports like kayaking [at least while the weather is still warm :)]. I have also started my journey of experiencing all the amazing food and neighborhoods which feels quite endless, as well as visiting the incredible museums! In addition, having a really good public transportation system is also a major plus to getting around and exploring things.
