Why did you choose Feinberg?
I chose Feinberg for a number of reasons, but what stood out most to me was the student body. Unlike any other school I interviewed at, Feinberg students made me feel like I was already a part of their community, so I had no doubts that I would find my home amongst my class. Additionally, it was really important to me to be able to start learning in a clinic as soon as possible in my education, and Feinberg’s Education-Centered Medical Home (ECMH) has given me that opportunity to apply classroom learning early and often!
Tell us a bit about your interests and hobbies outside the classroom.
When I am not in class, I am probably enjoying views of Lake Michigan while walking my Mini-Goldendoodle, Rigatoni. I also really enjoy helping others take their physical and mental wellbeing into their own hands while spending time as a CrossFit coach at a local gym and leading the Structural subcommittee of Feinberg’s Wellness Committee. Since moving downtown, I have been exploring local coffee shops in search of the best cold brew, so I would be happy to provide a few recommendations.
Topics I can discuss with Feinberg students:
- Life in Chicago
- ECMH
- AOSC
- Student Wellness
- Academic Support (studying, learning)
- Campus Life
- Student Organizations, Affinity Groups
