This presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of imposter phenomenon (IP), its contributing factors, consequences, and mitigation strategies. The presenters will discuss survey results regarding the prevalence of IP, demographic or professional predictors, and the impact on work outcomes in physical therapists. Attendees will gain a sound understanding of IP, its pernicious effects on job satisfaction, mental health, and career advancement, while learning effective management strategies for imposter tendencies.

NAVIGATING THE LANDSCAPE: THE BUSINESS OF MEDICINE
Please join Feinberg School of Medicine (FSM) for an enlightening conversation with fellow alumni in non-clinical roles who are changing the future of medicine. During this panel discussion, you will hear how different career paths are expanding what it means to make an impact on the field and learn about the opportunities and challenges that accompany an alternative career in medicine. If you are interested in pursuing a non-traditional path or have a story to share about your experience, we encourage alumni, students, and faculty to listen and participate in the discussion. Hosted by The Business of Medicine committee of your Northwestern Medical Alumni Association Board.

Alumni Weekend Hotel Accommodations
Hotel rooms have been arranged at various local hotels at discounted rates. Please mention Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Alumni Weekend when you make your reservation and call early to ensure availability. Rates are guaranteed until March 19, 2024 or until the room blocks sell out. The rates shown below are per night.

Parking
Parking for the weekend is available on campus in the garage at 321 East Erie Street, on the corner of East Erie Street and North Fairbanks Street. Parking can be purchased for $12/day on the registration page. You will need to pull a ticket for entry. If you request parking, you will receive a parking pass at check-in. Please note: You may park in the garage prior to obtaining your parking pass at check-in.
We can't guarantee there will be tickets to purchase the day of, so we recommend purchasing parking passes ahead of time.
