Kyle MacQuarrie, MD, PhD

Kyle MacQuarrie, MD, PhD, is a pediatric hematology oncology fellow at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. He's taking part in Northwestern’s Physician-Scientist Training Program and is interested in the relationship between how normal cells grow, how the body grows and how that goes awry in pediatric cancer.

J.O. DeLancey, MD, MPH

 J.O. is a Urology resident in the Department of Urology. He is in a research fellowship with the Northwestern Quality Improvement, Research, & Education in Surgery.

Luisa Morales Nebreda, MD

Luisa is an Internal Medicine resident within the Department of Medicine. She's in the Department of Medicine's Physician-Scientist Training Program, studying the role played by bone marrow-derived macrophages in response to lung injury and their contribution to the development of pulmonary fibrosis.

Steve Xu, MD

Steve is a Dermatology resident within the Department of Dermatology and NRSA Postdoctoral Fellow in Material Science.

Kate Poropatich, MD, MPH

Kate has completed her Anatomic Pathology residency in the Department of Pathology. She is now a fellow on the Advanced Training and Research track, studying the biology of specific cancers that affect the head and neck.

Ijeoma Okeigwe, MD, MPH

Ijeoma is a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellow in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She's studying how and why uterine fibroids develop.

Matt Feinstein, MD

Matt is a Cardiovascular Disease fellow in the Division of Cardiology within the Department of Medicine. He's is in the Department of Medicine's Physician-Scientist Training Program, studying the cardiovascular complications of HIV and chronic inflammatory diseases.

Josh Waitzman

Josh Waitzman, MD, PhD

Josh is an Internal Medicine resident in the Department of Medicine. He's taking part in the Department of Medicine's Physician-Scientist Training Program and hopes to create a treatment to help those with kidney disease maintain or regenerate kidney function rather than going on dialysis.

Ravi is a General Surgery resident in the Department of Surgery and part of the Department of Surgery's Physician-Scientist Training Program. His work centers on federal health policy work and surgical outcomes research.
