CHIP Students to Present in AMIA 2021 Virtual Informatics Summit

CHIP Doctoral Research Assistants Lindsay Zimmerman and Jiancheng Ye will present at the AMIA 2021 Virtual Informatics Summit from March 22 to March 25.

Jiancheng Ye, PhD Candidate in the Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety PhD Program, will present, “The Effects and Patterns among Mobile Health, Social Determinants and Physical Activity: A National Cross-Sectional Study” in S09: Oral Presentations – Patient-centered Care and Outcomes from 12:30 – 2:00 pm (CT) on March 22, 2021. He will also present a poster, “Identifying Barriers and Facilitators to Integrating Patient-Generated Health Data into EHR” in Poster Session 2 on March 24 from 2:30 – 4:00 pm (CT).

Lindsay Zimmerman, MPH, PhD Candidate in the Health Sciences Integrated PhD Program, will present in S50: Oral Presentations – Timing is Everything from 1:00 – 2:30 pm (CT) on March 25. Her podium abstract is titled, “Application of a Novel Sequential Pattern Mining Method to Study Longitudinal Social Determinants of Health through Young Adulthood: The CARDIA Study.”

The AMIA 2021 Virtual Informatics Summit brings together researchers in the areas of Translational Bioinformatics, Clinical Research Informatics, Implementation Informatics, and Data Science, with a goal of sharing work and ideas to further innovation, collaborations, and discovery in the field.
