Master of Science in Health and Biomedical Informatics

The Master of Science in Health and Biomedical Informatics (HBMI) offers students an opportunity to gain expertise in a rapidly evolving field that blends healthcare, data science, and information technology. 

Program features:

  • Suitable for individuals with MDs or PhDs who are on a K or T training grant, and also for those with BS degrees in biological or computational sciences
  • Eligible for Northwestern employee tuition benefits (**check with your HR representative)
  • Available for full-time or part-time schedules
  • 2-  to 3-year timeline to finish
  • Application via rolling admissions
