TIME to Learn Something New | Adapting to Changing Patterns of Student Engagement in Pre-Clerkship Undergraduate Medical Education: Many Questions, A Few Answers

Learning Objectives

At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Describe 3 ways students may choose to engage with optional large-group didactic content during the pre-clerkship curriculum.

  • Define livestreaming and discuss 2 potential benefits and 2 potential limitations of its use in pre-clerkship medical education.

  • Summarize strategies faculty can use to maximize impactful connections with students during the Phase 1 curriculum.
