My short-term goal is to become an independent, externally funded clinical investigator in non-malignant hematology and become an expert in mobile health (mHealth) and behavioral intervention research methodology. My long-term goals are to become a leader in the field of pediatric SCD and implement technology-based interventions for monitoring and improving patient reported outcomes (PROs), medication adherence and self-management skills in patients with SCD and other chronic complex conditions.
