Focus of Work

Dr. Kan's relationships with families and partnerships with communities, as a primary care pediatrician and health services researcher, motivate her to improve our scientific understanding of health services delivery for children with special health care needs (CSHCN) and to build cross-sectoral solutions to support CSHCNs and their families.

Dr. Kan is a primary care pediatrician and health services and health policy researcher. As a physician-investigator, she aims to inform the design of health policies and programs that optimize health care access and quality of care for children with chronic diseases.
