Illinois Practices Invited to Participate in 2021 Environmental Scan

In partnership with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS), the Illinois Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center (ILHITREC) and Chicago Health IT Regional Extension Center (CHITREC) are conducting an environmental scan to better understand the health information technology environment in the state.

Illinois practices and hospitals of any size are encouraged to participate. Interested participants will complete a 5-10 minutes survey that requests information about electronic health record (EHR) adoption, utilization, and functionality, as well as Health Information Exchange (HIE) participation.

The results of the survey will help inform current and future support and resources for providers, practices, and hospitals in Illinois.
