The opening of the new Northwestern Medicine Outpatient Center, on the south side of Chicago in the Bronzeville neighborhood, represents a powerful step forward in advancing health equity.  By bringing world-class medical care directly into the community where people live and work, we are eliminating barriers to access and ensuring that essential evaluations, treatments, and preventive services are available close to home.  As medical director, I know firsthand how life-changing it is for patients to have convenient, reliable access to quality care, and I am deeply committed to the role the center will play. More than just a health center, this facility stands as a symbol of investment in the community’s health and future, making it easier for families to prioritize their well-being and fostering a healthier, stronger neighborhood for generations to come.
