Bio

Dr. Kolaitis serves as the Associate Division Head of Hospital-Based Medicine and as the Site Leader for the Seasonal Hospitalist Program. She is also an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She participates actively in numerous hospital and expansion initiatives pertaining to throughput, capacity, in-patient care models, and patient safety. She is also an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She participates actively in numerous hospital and expansion initiatives pertaining to throughput, capacity, in-patient care models, and patient safety. She has leveraged on these experiences to take the lead role designing and opening a dedicated Intermediate Care Unit at Lurie Children’s Hospital. Her additional research interests include include clinical medical ethics, with an emphasis on conflict resolution, error disclosure, and informed consent.[Shorten text]
