Dr. Skibley is a pediatric hospitalist at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and Clinical Instructor, Pediatrics, at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.

She is board certified in pediatrics. Her clinical interests include breastfeeding medicine and the care of newborns with maternal chorioamnionitis. She splits her clinical time between the normal newborn nursery and the NICU and directs the nursery rotation for the pediatric residents.

Dr. Skibley graduated from The University of Notre Dame and earned her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Stanford in Palo Alto, CA followed by an additional year as chief resident.

Prior to joining the staff of Lurie Children's Hospital in 2011, Dr. Skibley was a critical care transport physician at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in San Francisco, CA.[Shorten text]
