Focus of Work
My current research includes the development, validation and implementation of preclinical and translational research relevant to striated muscles and movement disorders. In particular, I aim to identify new mechanisms relating to muscle tissue and muscle stem cell dysfunction in patients with brain injury, including cerebral palsy, stroke and TBI.
