Description of Interests

My research focuses on the mental and behavioral health of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals, with a particular focus on youth. The health issues I study include mental health, HIV/AIDS, and substance use. My research spans the translational spectrum from epidemiological studies of prevalence, to longitudinal studies of risk and protective factors, to the development and testing of intervention, to the dissemination and implementation of these novel interventions.
