Focus of Work

Bio

Areas of clinical interest include general forensic psychiatry and consultation-liaison psychiatry. Another area of clinical and research interest is use of electroconvulsive therapy, particularly in treatment-resistant mood disorders and in other conditions. Areas of research and scholarly interest have included behavioral genetics, particularly inheritance of susceptibility to addiction and to antisocial behaviors; electroconvulsive therapy; and psychiatric ethics.
