Bio

In addition to providing clinical care and family education in the ED, I am interested in Peer Review and Quality Improvement thorough evidence-based case discussion.

Academic Focus

My academic focus is the improvement in acute care of the ill or injured child from the prehospital setting, to the ED setting, to the inpatient unit. My focus is Peer Education and Quality Improvement through small group case-based discussions, quality improvement projects, large lecture format, and written educational material. My clinical focus is optimal delivery of pediatric healthcare in the community setting, bringing academic center standards of quality, safety, and expert communication to the outreach sites of Lurie Children's Hospital.
