Focus of Work
My clinical interests are in long- and short-term, psychodynamically informed psychotherapy with both high-functioning and severely mentally ill adult outpatients, marital/couples therapy and clinical supervision. My research interests include psychoanalytic theory, gender theory, fantasy, creativity, psychodynamically-informed developmental theory, the relationships between clinical work, psychological theory, and the arts and humanities, psychoanalysis and culture theory, and psychoanalytic politics.
