2025 Osher Benefit, Eat to Beat Disease with Dr. William Li

On September 18, 2025 the Osher Center for Integrative Health proudly hosted the 2025 Osher Benefit, featuring Dr. William W. Li, whose groundbreaking work continues to inspire hope and illuminate the powerful connection between food, health, and healing.

The evening was a moving reminder of what’s possible when science, community, and compassion come together. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised over $375,000 to advance high-impact initiatives at Osher Northwestern—especially those dedicated to iincreasing access to healthy food and addressing mental health in underserved communities.

ALAS-WINGS was the recipient of the Osher inaugural Community Catalyst Award. ALAS-WINGS’ mission is to advocate for and improve the lives of breast cancer survivors through education, mental health programs, and emotional support groups for Hispanic/Latina women and their families. Suzanne Le Mignot, esteemed anchor and reporter for CBS 2 Chicago, served as the master of ceremonies for the evening.

A Celebration of Gratitude

On October 10th, 2024, we had the honor of hosting our Osher Donor Appreciation Dinner at BIAN. The evening was a heartfelt celebration of the generosity and support of Tina and Byron Trott as well as all of our donors, whose contributions enable us to further our mission of advancing integrative health.

The event featured inspiring stories from our council members, highlighting the impact of donor support on our clinical care, education, and research efforts. Guests enjoyed a gourmet dinner, lively conversation, and a shared sense of purpose in fostering a healthcare system that promotes whole-person healthcare.

We are deeply grateful for the incredible community of donors who continue to champion the work of the Osher Center.
