Interview Process

Applications are reviewed by the program’s leadership, and 88 applicants are invited to interview. Interview invitations are sent in February. Interviews are held from February to April. Offers are extended on the national acceptance date. For the Class of 2028, 20 students will be accepted.

Please note that all interviews are virtual.

During interviews, applicants meet with multiple faculty members and current students, providing an in-depth view of the Northwestern program. The interview process is critical to the admissions process, allowing faculty and program directors to learn about the applicants and applicants to determine if Northwestern is the best choice for their graduate education.
