Brain Tumor Support Groups

Following a brain tumor diagnosis, it may be helpful to connect with others in a similar situation. Many people find that this helps manage stress and provide valuable insights. Our virtual Brain Tumor Support Group allows patients, survivors, families and caregivers to learn more about brain tumors, share experiences and receive support.

A variety of educational topics are presented at meetings scheduled throughout the year. Facilitated by a licensed clinical social worker and advanced practice nurse from the Malnati Brain Tumor Institute of the Lurie Cancer Center, the support group is open, at no charge, to all brain tumor patients, regardless where they were or are treated. If you know someone who would benefit from attending a support group, please let them know we are here.

The group meets online the third Monday evening of each month from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Please email BTISupportGroup@nm.org to discuss participation and virtual meeting details.
