Cost of Attendance & Financial Aid
Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine has a competitive financial aid program that includes federal loan programs. Students who wish to be considered to receive loans are advised to submit their financial aid application materials by the specified deadlines as listed at the financial aid website.
Current students may be eligible to apply for and receive a needs-based scholarship offered by the PA Program.
In addition, incoming and current students are encouraged to apply for external scholarships offered to PA students.
Estimated Cost for 2026-2027
Tuition and estimated expenses for the upcoming academic year are set in late April or May by the Board of Trustees.

^Students can opt-in or opt-out of the CTA U-Pass public transit benefit and associated fee on an academic trimester basis. The CTA U-Pass fee per academic trimester is $124.
*The Student Health Insurance fee will not be charged to students who waive the Northwestern University Student Health Insurance Plan (NU-SHIP).
#The student health fee, and other funding sources, provides Northwestern students with equitable access to a variety of health services at the university including: Northwestern Medicine Health Service in Evanston and Chicago, Counseling & Psychological Services, TimelyCare services, and other on-campus health and wellness initiatives.
Tuition and fees are established on an annual basis in advance of the academic year start and are subject to change. Living expenses and transportation costs will vary depending on where students reside and their specific living arrangements.
